But of course I had to pass by all the fabric....And there it was ... this gorgeous Radiant Gradient fabric, by Hoffman Fabrics. So many colors to choose from. This colorway called Fire reminded me of a beautiful sunset off the beaches of some tropical island (that I have never visited). One yard was all I allowed myself to get. Surly I can come up with something to make out of just one yard.
After all the fabric squares are thread basted around the paper hexagon shapes and the papers are removed, I glue basted the hexagons to the background fabric. The fastest and easiest way to space the hexagons is to first mark the background with my 1'' triangle grid stencil and the white pounce powder. Now you can arrange and re-arrange the hexies into any design you want.
