Finding the most continuous quilting path around a quilt is sometimes very challenging, especially if you are new to quilting. Personally I love the challenge! And I love to share these techniques with other quilters.
So a few months ago I had the privilege of quilting the sample for one of Lisa Bongean's (Primitive Gatherings) new quilt patterns, called Every Which Way. She made this quilt using her Wool and Needle Flannel fabric by Moda. This fabric is so cuddly, soft and just so wonderful to quilt on.
This clear film comes in two sizes, 20'' x 25'' or on a roll 20'' 12'. Both are available in the shop under Notions .
For the second pass, I filled in all the details. Including the feathers, flowers and the curved connecting designs that can be found in my book Making Connections.
Now if you are interested in seeing how this was quilted, take a look at this video. And as always, I welcome any questions and comments.
