In order to rent one of our three APQS longarms, you must first complete the 3 hour Certification Class. Here’s everything you need to know!

What You Will Need for Class

• You will need to purchase a set of Zipper Leaders, to be used every time you rent one of our longarm machines. Learn more about using our Zipper Leaders here. 
• Quilt Top no larger than 36” x 36”
• Backing approximately 44” square
• Batting approximately 44” square (available for purchase at our shop) 
• Thread Snips
• Notebook and pen for taking notes
• Snack and/or beverage (in a bottle or cup with a lid) if desired

How Long Does Certification Last?

• Your certification is unlimited, as long as you rent a longarm at least every 6 months. If it has been 6 months or longer since your last rental, you will need to take a Refresher Certification Class (a 2-hour class) so that you can safely quilt your projects again.
• You will have the option to book additional rental time (on the same day) after the Refresher Certification Class. If you choose this option, the size of your quilt top for class may be larger than 36” x 36”.

Cost & How to Sign Up for Class

• The cost for the Certification Class is $100, plus $45 for the Zipper Leader kit, for a total of $145.
• The cost for the Refresher Certification Class is $50
• We would love for you to bring your friends to quilt with you! If you refer a friend to our Certification Class, you will receive $10 off toward your rental, and your friend will receive $10 off of his or her Certification Class! Be sure to share the Quilty Love!
• We want to ensure that you will get into class as soon as possible so that you can start renting and quilting your projects, The best way to sign up is to either to call us at 417-344-7161 or to email [email protected]. We are currently scheduling Certification classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Inquire about weekend Certification classes if special arrangements need to be made.
